While obtaining static IP addresses is not 'black magic' but... .
The answer is still the same as when you asked this on serverfault : If your ISP won't give you a static IP just because you asked politely, it's time to get a real ISP.
How do you make Vim take you back where you were when you last edited a file? My work computer has this feature, but not my home computer! How do you set Vim to remember in which part of a file you were when you last edited it? EDIT: just to be more precise...

I will probably start with C and then Lisp. Although I started programming in C, I did not program in it as much as I want. It's fun working with the low level stuff. Learning C helped me a lot when I started working. I've only started learning Lisp now...

(I think assembler is a step too far, because it gets you....
Even if you never use C again, it's worth learning because it gets you so much closer to the machine.
Is frustrating and difficult at first, but it teaches you a lot.

I've used code generation for swizzle functions primarily used LLBLGen Pro to generate code... .
Code generator that as of v2.1, no longer requires ActiveRecord (you can use the Repository Pattern things you want to do that is not built in.
