As Telemachus said I was answering the wrong question:....
Before that I had it set to 256 but I only had a gig of ram and actually needed the swap in that case .
I set mine to 0 but that's because I have 8 gig of ram in the machine .
I have mine set to 0.

I have heard that hosting your website with the same company that you have registered your domain with is a bad idea. Is this correct and why is this so?

To many hosts fold, leaving your domain registered in their name and locked, or are just plain unprofessional about....
By the same token, trusting your domain name to a host is a leap of faith that makes no sense to take.
